The Heart of Aging with Wisdom and Vitality gives us opportunities to celebrate and

build upon our experience as we look forward to the years ahead. As we explore and

share our stories, experiences, and lessons learned, we develop new perspectives. It

is an opportunity to move from seeing aging as a time of limitations, diminishment

and losses, to a new paradigm of an expanded awareness that brings more meaning

and purpose to life.

These workshops provide opportunities for us to think, write, and talk about questions

such as as:

Who am I now?

What really matters at this point in my life?

How can I continue to make a difference?

How can I feel valued in a society that does not value older people?

Those who have attended our series have built strong relationships with other

participants as they shared their ideas and experiences in a safe and comfortable

setting. They appreciated the opportunities to think about their lives as older adults

in new and positive ways, valuing the time they had to share their thoughts with

others.
