MUSIC ON THE GROUNDS - “BOB-BOB-BOBBIN’ ALONG” and friends

Rev. Bob Wallace: I am an ordained minister (retired mostly!) A native of Calgary, I was ordained in 1967. I now live in Lethbridge after having served churches across Canada as well as in Oregon, Texas and Oklahoma. I am married to an ordained minister, Sarah, and we share 3 children, their spouses and 2 grandsons (with another grandchild on the way.) Along the way I have also been a part of a group of musicians called The Common Cup Company, who have been writing and performing new folk-gospel style music for churches since 1982. We have songs in many hymnals around the world, and have performed in concerts and led workshops from coast to coast in Canada, the USA and Australia.

Rev.Mr.Bob Williston: I am an ordained Permanent Deacon in the Catholic church.   My wife and I retired from active ministry and moved from Saskatoon to Lethbridge to be close to our daughter and her three children. I worked along with my wife Joan on the Redemptorist Mission Team for some 30 years.  I am a singer/composer and recording artist.  I was a Lay Pastor for some years in rural parishes in Saskatchewan and was ordained to the Diaconate in 1999.

Since Bob and I are neighbours now, we thought it would be a fun project to share with you some of our music.  Dan and Joanne Friedt will also be a part of our ensemble.  They are both retired educators from Edmonton Alberta.
