Deeptime invites us into capital M Mystery.

Normally the revelations of science and spirituality are in separate arenas, keeping us in the age-old

dualism of matter and spirit. What happens when we bring them together? And might this change in

consciousness be the shift we need at this critical time in our history?

This retreat invites us into stirring reflections about Deeptime – the 14 billion-year-old story of the

universe – and the silent receptivity of Centering Prayer. Together we will open to the Sacred and

explore what the ‘Old One’ wants to reveal.

The retreat includes Deeptime learning sessions drawing on the wisdom of Geologians Thomas Berry

and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, and Cosmologist Brian Swimme. We will weave in silent meditations,

outdoor contemplation, stargazing, and sacred sharing of what is stirring in each of us.
