Executive Director
The Martha Retreat Centre Society Board is seeking an Executive Director to be a leader and manager for the Martha Retreat Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Overlooking the beautiful river valley the Centre was founded by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Martha of Antigonish, Nova Scotia in 1968. With a staff of 4 and volunteer base of 120 it faithfully serves the spiritual and religious needs of the local community and international guests. The Martha Retreat Centre is anchored in Gospel Hospitality, focusing on contemplative spiritual ministry for all interfaith groups. It is a sacred space for retreat, renewal, and transformation.
The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to fulfill governance and strategic priorities and direct operations in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Programs, and Human Resources. Central to the role is sustainability through fundraising while developing relationships within the community served.
The successful candidate will have experience fostering teamwork, building trusting relationships, and achieving strategic goals. They will be results oriented, have strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrate servant leadership, and balance management with contemplative practice.
We offer a compensation package that is commensurate with experience and aligned with similar roles in non-profit organizations.
